I bought this puzzle for my sister, she has cerebral palsey and has little hand control, but she is able to move the puzzle pieces around where she has a lot of problems working a traditional jigsaw puzzle. She really enjoys be able to work this puzzle on her on. Thanks, I will be buying her more.

I purchased three Scramble Squares puzzles for family members this holiday (three different designs). How difficult could it be to solve a 9-piece puzzle? Hooboy.
Hubby spent several hours on his version without successfully solving the puzzle. I gave it a couple of hours too...dang! If eight of the nine pieces fit, the ninth must, right? Nuh-uh. Then the obsession sets in. You become determined to find some THEORY that will make all the pieces fall into place. Hah! You mentally create a symmetrical pattern you think might just be the one. Hah! Simple logic? Hah!
Someday, maybe I'll luck into the solution to this. I shall persevere; perhaps before my death I will succeed. I am now counting on the solution dropping onto the table by accident.
It is a terrific choice for adults, especially if you seek a gift for someone who is particularly hard-to-buy-for who would enjoy a true challenge. I would, however, shy away from buying it for a child under 10. In rating, I lowered its educational value because I'm sure tears of frustration would follow.
