This pump is very sturdy and has a nicely designed handle. It pumped my road tires to 110 psi quickly with no leaking while pumping (the stems were already a little funky from another pump that I had used which had bent the stems slightly). Has a separate hole for schrader and presta, so there's no complications with bad fits or things that are going to break. I'm not sure why anyone would buy another brand given their lifetime warranty. I bought one Blackburn mountain bike pump 12 years ago. Three years ago a part broke, I sent it to them and they sent me a new pump. No questions. On a 9 year old pump that had been used on lots of muddy single track....
Reading some reviews on other pumps I would like to note: when you release a very high pressure pump from a tire, there will be a large discharge of air. This is coming from the pump, not the tire (at least if it's a well designed pump) and is normal.

The only thing that I am disapponted is that there are no handles storage on the pump like they say on the Blackburn web site:

I bought this pump because it was a Blackburn and they claimed they had the bad valve head fixed. They do not. I pumped up 2 tires the the dual head started leaking out of the second valve. So I tried using my adapter to use the second head well the 1st head also leaked. I paid a lot of money for something that DOES NOT WORK. Dont waste your money on this one. Buy something else,anything else.

I drove over my 15 year old pump and now and sort of glad I did. Except for the slightly odd (hence no five starts) foot support and an overly grabby (for presta) valve lock this pump is tops. The gauge is really easy to read for older eyes with bike shades rather than their glasses on, the pumping action is rapid and deliberate and the handle is comfortable when getting up to 120psi. The foot support is oddly shaped and I'd like it if it offer more area on each side; the triangular reinforcement in the middle gets in the way as it is. My feet (size 45) are not overly large. If you use the threaded presta valves can expect the valve lock to grab and pull on them. This normally results in ripping out or creating a leak at the valve base so I wish either tube manufacturers would all move to the smooth valves or pumps would offer a "grabby" and "not so grabby" option.
