Breyer Ethereal Fire is a superb model in all aspects!Jul 19, 2009

This model, the third in Breyer's Ethereal Collection, is thus far not only the best of the series (#4 will be released in the near future), but is garnering widespread opinion as being the best paint job on a traditional-scale Breyer horse model for many years. I can attest to this personally, having been a model horse collector for over 35 years. Breyer notes that each model is slightly different, due to the intensive handpainting and masking; my model is a darker chestnut than some I've seen, with meticulously painted eyes (one dark brown, one blue). My only fuss would be that the striping on the hooves could have had more time spent on them, but this is a minor point. A superb and stunning presentation on the Ethereal mold!
