Junk!!!!Jan 29, 2009
By M. Thompson The horse in this set is a nice, standard Breyer horse. I have no complaints--even the tack is pretty cute. The Lisa doll, however, is a total piece of junk. She broke the first time my daughter played with her. Her legs are made out of flimsy plastic that are supposed to snap together on either side of an ariculating hip. The one we got split open immediately and will not stay together. I was going to go through the hassle of returning it, but my husband is planning to glue together the brand-new, overpriced toy. I am very disappointed with this product.

Little girls' favorite!Nov 18, 2008

My daughters love the show and the whole Breyer line of toys &dolls. You have to use care with the horses-too rough of play and they cant snap the legs. We've had it happen but they repair well.

Must Have for Saddle Club LoversDec 05, 2009
A lot of fun for anyone who loves The Saddle Club. Doll clothes are difficult to remove and redress. Quality is not great, Lisa's arm frequently comes out of the socket and after three months of play she doesn't stand up. I frequently play with this set but quality is not great for heavy play. Horse is good quality after heavy play. Reins are delicate and have to be repaired frequently. Overall fun toy.

life like, but not for rough playJan 01, 2009
By S. Decker I really like the breyer / girl horse sets that I purchased for my daughter (6) for christmas. HOwever, I have a two 1/2 year old who likes to take the bridles / harnesses off the horses face and they are very delicate and flimsy. I have tried to keep him away from them, but thats easier said than done. My daughter loves playing with them and they are very life like, just have to be gentle with the riding gear on them.

Looks good but frustrating to play withJul 27, 2011
By S. Hedges We bought all three of the set of these as a Christmas present for our 6 yr old daughter, she loves the Saddle Club. I have been reminded today why they are not played with more. The tack is too flimsy to be be taken on and off, part of one ripped off first time it was played with. She was not being rough just trying to tighten the saddle. The girls will not easily stay on the horses, when they dont stay I have to help and it takes me a while to get them to balance. All in all the horses and girls look good but are difficult to do imaginary play with. Very dissappointed because I thought Beyer would have considered their target audience and the way this toy would be played with more.
