In 1972, he won the Little Brown Jug in a blistering 1:56-2/5 setting a record that stood until 1977. He was twice named champion pacer of his age and in 1976, he joined the Standardbred Hall of Fame. He was retired to stud at the famed Castleton Farm in Lexington, Kentucky where he sired a son, Striking Image, who became the first Standardbred to cover a mile in 1:55. | | | Features: | |

One of the very best Breyers!!Feb 27, 2004
A beautiful, flashy horse who gives you a look of pride and intelligence. Stunning chestnut. He balances quite well on good surfaces and , at least for me, has had much more durability then some of the others. He does have a few small scratchs on him, but I play with my horses a lot and I have had him over a year. He really stands out in my collection of almost 30 horses. Strike Out is a must have for every Breyer collector!!!
