The Cuddlekins Black Bear 30-inch is a great educational/fun toy that works as a kid's toy and as a present for adults with an inner child.
The Good: Wonderful representation of a black bear cub resting on its belly. Great price.
The Bad: Let a kid touch it and you're not getting it back!
The ugly: Nothing within a mile of it.
The Cuddlekins 30-inch Black Bear is a plush toy you should never let anyone touch if you want it back and that is pretty much all there is to say about it.
It's a big-ole plush bear that unlike Steif and other iconic "teddy" bears, is naturally shaped and proportioned as a representation of a real animal. It looks like a photograph of a bear cub in a supine position made three-dimensional.
Covered in a thick coat of faux-fur, the Cuddlekins Black Bear 30-inch has a nice, soft coat of something other than plush which means it will attract dust and pet hair just as effectively as any other stuffed toy, but its naturalism will make it more than just something for your child to drool on. It has small, plastic claws on its forepaws which are nice and blocky making them kid-safe while allowing education-minded parents to point out to children that the real thing of which the toy is a representation has a lifestyle that involves tearing holes in things.
All in all, I personally like it, and think it would make a great toy for a child (the thing is the size of a pillow) or a great gift for a girl you want to do good things for because it's very, very nice and any girl who likes stuffed animals will just love this thing.
And that is pretty much all you can say about the it. It would be hard to find a child who wouldn't like it. It's bigger than a toddler, fluffier than a dandelion and it has cute little gray plastic claws and the person I gave it to, the woman (the ostensibly *adult* woman, one Rosa Q.), would rip your arm off *at the shoulder* if you tried to take it away from her.
She loves it, and that gives it value.

I just received the bear I ordered for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He is going to LOVE this. It is a nice size and shaped to where he can lay on it watching tv or sleep with it easily at bedtime. I do not know if the claws are different than the ones on the bears that some other people received (going by their reviews) but, I see no problem with them. The claws on the bear I got are soft and bendable. If they seemed to be too sharp all I would need to do is simply take some scissors and round off the tips but, that will not be necessary with this bear. It seems to be very good quality and stitching. For the price I am very pleased and can not wait for him to open it on Christmas morning. Hope this helps someone to decide whether they want this product or not.

This bear is adorable. I fall in love with him at first sight. He looks cuter than the photo. (In the photo, he looks a bit scary.) He has shiny black fur and he is very soft. Yes, he has claws but I have no problem with that. The claws are not sharp. He is huggable - a perfect fit for a 'cuddlekin'.

This bear looked a bit fearsome in the photo, but in real life, he's quite huggable. To those folks concerned about the stiffness of his claws, I don't think it's an issue, but try putting different colored socks on his feet. Could make him even cuter!

This bear is great! Looks even better than the picture. Incredibly soft, shiny fur. Very floppy, which makes it perfect for cuddling and posing. Works great as rustic decor/throw pillow, too! Yes, it does have "claws," but they are made of felt and are flexible. The claws could probably even be removed easily with scissors if desired. If you love bears and/or are decorating in a rustic theme, you won't be disappointed with this bear.
