I purchased both the Bebe Do and Bebe Charmeur for my twin girls for Christmas. I was expecting them to be similar in that they are both from Corolle and are 14" dolls. They are very different. Bebe Do is very petite. Her body is very light weight and feels small (especially compared to the Bebe Charmeur). Her hand and feet and limbs are about 1/3 size smaller than the bebe charmeur. Her skin color is very pale without the luminescent quality that other Corolle dolls have. We have the Chou twins too who have a similar skin to Charmeur (pink, luminescent look). She is very life-like and detailed in her features though. Amazing detail actually. I am not a fan of life-like dolls as I find the somewhat creepy. Bebe Do doesn't fall into that category for me but any more realistic looking and I don't think I would like her. Her head also can turn around completely which I don't like. All that being said, she is still a beautiful doll. My girls are 4 and I think she is somewhat small and light weight for them where as the Bebe Charmeur has a better weight and feel for their age. By the way, I measured the two and Bebe Do is about 1" smaller than Charmeur. She is a beautiful, petite doll and is well worth the money.

While browsing in a toy store at the beach two years ago, my daughter fell in love with the "boy" display model. We thought it was a little pricey, but the sales clerk recommended the dolls for the vanilla scent baked into the skin, which we were assured would last for the life of the doll. They did not have the "boy" doll in stock, so we persuaded her to get the girl doll. It has been favorite doll ever since.
Although our puppy chewed one of the arms off her doll, my daughter refused to part with it, so I decided to purchase a new one for her for Christmas. My daughter totally loves her new doll and she says now she has twins, since she still refuses to part with the one with the "broken" arm. I can't blame her - the original still smells as good as the day we removed it from the box. I'd recommend this doll for any girl or boy.

This Corolle Bebe Do was my daughter's first baby doll at 18 months. She loves and cares for this doll so much. She sleeps with her and brings her everywhere. Corolle makes beautiful dolls with a vanilla baby scent. This doll is well worth the price, a lesser quality doll would not do.

Although purchased in February, I just gave it to my 14-month-old granddaughter three weeks ago. She loved it and really responded to the closing eyes. At this time, the eyes still work (although they have been poked a number of times). She loves "the baby," and likes to feed it with the bottle (although she puts the bottle in her own mouth more often).

My daughter received Bebe Do for Christmas at 9 months old. It was a little big for her to handle then but she would light up and smile whenever she saw it. She loved to play with the eyes and enjoyed the baby's scent (I often found her licking the doll's head!). Now at almost a year old she has grown even fonder of the doll and plays and "talks" to her every day! I love the way the doll looks and feels. The clothes are well made and are easy to take on and off (velcro). The doll is beautiful and sturdy. I see my daughter enjoying her for years to come. Corolle doesn't recommend Bebe Do as a first doll (due to size) but she has worked for us!
