ANOTHER GREAT HUMAN TORCH FIGURE! WOW!Jul 24, 2005

This is my second favorite Human Torch figure from ToyBiz. The first being Flame On Human Torch from the 1st series of figures based on the Fantastic Four movie characters. They both share a lot of similar qualities that make them a "must have" for Fantastic Four and Marvel Legends fans. Both are molded in translucent, orange plastic with like-colored joints. So, the face and costume details are similarly hidden. Both have excellent articulation and no loose joints (this one doesn't have the articulated fingers like Flame On Human Torch, however). Both are well stocked. Both are in scale with Marvel Legends figures. But, there are few differences. Some are big and some very small. This figure is a hair taller than the Flame On Human Torch, but then the arms are a little shorter, too. It's not very noticeable, and you'll never know it without closely comparing the two side by side. This figure comes with an action accessory instead of a "light and sound" feature. The figure fits into a C-clip on the pistol-shaped accessory and when the trigger is pulled, the figure will spin to simulate flight or a "barrel roll" in flight. It also launches two missiles or "fireballs". Two, separate buttons at the front of the accessory activate them. They don't shoot too far and are relatively safe. I tried putting Flame on Human Torch into the C-clip and he doesn't fit as well, but he will, if you really want him to. This figure has a slightly different emblem on his costume. It's done in black instead of orange and red like the Flame On Human Torch. The tongues of "flame" are only on the outside of the arms and legs and on the shoulders/neck area of this figure. They look very realistic and definitely added to the figure's appearance. All in all, this is an excellent Human Torch figure and well worth the money. You can't go wrong. If you are forced to decide between the two Human Torch movie figures, either one is an excellent decision. It all comes down to what accessories you wish to have. This is a perfect item for any Fantastic Four/Marvel Legends fan in your family.

This is very good figure as he has great sculpting and a incredible likeness as its pretty movie accurate. I recommend Marvel Movie/Marvel Legends/Spider-Man figures for age 10 and up due to the fragileness nature of the figures. Bottom line this is a must have figure if you are a big Fantastic Four fan! I strongly recommend this figure!
