By James A. King I ordered this as a gift and when it arrived I had to do quite a bit of work to get it up to snuff.
It required a lot of trimming and clipping of lose threads and areas where the plush had long patches.
After a bit of trimming it looked quite nice. Problem is I didn't feel like it was my job to play barber with a plush toy.
The next time I order this type of gift I think it would be better to look at another brand maybe TY or RUSS.

We got this for our 3 year old grandson as a Christmas gift. His uncle has a dearly loved basset named "Lola" so that's what this dog was named. She is adorable! She's just the right size for a three year old to carry and she "protects" him every night. We matched it with a story book about "Matilda" and it was one of our grandson's favorite Christmas gifts!
