I bought this for my two-year old niece, who is a great dog-lover. She LOVES her dog, whom she calls "Marley," and carries it everywehre with her. It is so soft and cute that it almost compensates for her not having a real puppy to shower her affection on. I'd reccommend this toy for any child who loves animals.

My son's stuffed puppy is so worn there is nothing left.
I needed a new one to come as close as possible to the old one.
This one is pretty cute and cuddly.

its cute and lovable and soft and sweet looking with a wonderful expression. However in the description it says "13 inches". It's actually very small. Without measuring the tail it is only about 10 inches. Since I was looking for a good size huggable stuffed toy and not a small toddler size stuffed animal, I'm disappointed.

I got my very own Puddles (aka Puppy) when I was two years old.. so that's 21 years ago. When I was going to sleep I would pull out little tufts of fur and roll it in my fingers. After about 2 years and several bald patches later, I was starting to get sad that I had done that. So "Santa" borrowed him to fix him up nice and new. I didn't know that it was actually my mom buying me the brand new Puppy. Of course I eventually found out that Santa wasn't real, but didn't think to ask my mom about him until I was a teenager. But to my wonderful surprise she had kept him all those years.
So..
How much fun is this toy? I took him everywhere
How would you rate this toy's educational value? How to take care of a baby.. I put diapers and baby clothes on him. I know that's not really a reason, but it worked for me.
How durable is this toy? Over 21 years durable.
How do you rate this toy overall? Excellent. But at least I stopped carrying them around :P

I gave "puppy" to my grandson when he was born and he lost it...never did we think we could replace and find another but we did!! He is happy to have his "puppy" back and I am happy I found on Amazon!
