Super Cute and Super SoftJan 10, 2009

Gund 11-Inch Yardley Dog is the perfect size for snuggling. He's super soft and floppy, but he can sit up on his own. So very cute and huggable. Although this is being given as a gift to my mother for Valentine's day, this would make an excellent lovey for any child, especially for a child, who loves dogs or wants a puppy. Gund makes excellent, high-quality plush animals. Their logo says it all. "Gotta Getta Gund. Most Huggable Since 1898." My 3-year-old does have some Gund loveys that although they look well-loved, they've held up well to the love received by a young child. If you're looking for a plush puppy, you won't be disappointed. Yodel is also recommended, though he is slightly smaller than the 11" Yardley.

Yardley Dog is a high quality stuffed animal from Gund, and as we can attest, it is 5 year old approved. He is adorable and soft, and a great companion toy for any kid. His fur is long and stringy, and we found my son especially liked his big floppy ears. I will caution that this toy is a little larger than we anticipated, but my son did not mind. He also has quite a few tags that we removed because my son complained they were not very soft. That being said, this is a great and thoughtful present that will be appreciated for years to come.

Gund has always made the softest and squishiest stuffed animals. I bought this for a 3 yr old's B-Day. She LOVED it!

This is the fourth gund stuffed animal I have purchesed for my mini-schnauzer in the last 10 years. And, they have all been very durable. I toss them in the washer and sometimes the dryer. Ponder the frog, by Gund, is his best friend and had been wash about quarterly for 10 years and comes out great. So this would be very durable for children, too. This dog is about a big as a mini-schnauzer.
