A classic game with a refreshing new look.Aug 12, 1999
The game of memory is a great equalizer because little children are just as apt to remember where they saw the hidden images as older children or adults. This makes it great game for the whole family to play together. The images from the "I Spy" book illustrations are bright and creative. They don't match exactly- for instance, there might be two images of cats, but borrowed from different photographs in the I Spy books. So there is a bit more visual variety to spice things up. This is a much more attractive memory game than most, and would make an ideal gift for a child or family.

Great for FamiliesOct 29, 2003

This is a great family game. Young children can play this game as well as adults. My son who is four loves this game. It is a traditional game with a new look. Some of them are a little bit difficult in that the matches might have different backgrounds or be a silghtly different view of the same item. It makes you think. We have enjoyed the books and now we enjoy the game. The pictures on the game look like they come right from the book. I particularly like that this game will grow with my children. There are riddle cards that you can use in one type of game. And directions for other games as well. Enjoy.

I Spy Memory GameSep 19, 2005

My grandchildren loved this game from the first time we brought it out of the "game closet". Ages 6 and 9 and Grandpa and Grandma had a wonderful time ! It's a little difficult at first, as all really good games are, but well worth the time spent. The children were very quick to find the various "things". It is a good mental focus style of game and one that makes a child look and really "see". We recommended this to another family whose children couldn't seem to settle down and focus. They enjoyed the game as well. Definitely worth the [...]!!

A Bit DifficultJan 09, 2007
By N. Liford This is a fun game and easier if used as just a card matching game. It is difficult when using the clues. The picture cards are very "busy" and I had a hard time finding some items to match my clues. My 3 year old is much too young for this game. My 5 1/2 year old has a hard time trying to find all of the matches for her clues. It takes a long time to play and at her age it's not one of her favorite games. It's better for older children.

Good game based on the great I Spy books.May 14, 2007

This is a decent little board game based on the I Spy books that my five-year-old has loved for months. We've played a couple of times and the game is similar to the books in that you're looking for specific small/well disguised items surrounded by many other things. Neither of my sons have asked to play it again, so it's been sitting on the shelf for a week or so, but I'm sure they'll pick it up soon and ask to play. All in all this is a good game if you're really into the I Spy thing, but it doesn't ignite any fireworks or make you want to play again and again.
