We first saw this toy at a local store, my daughter loves it, but it was sold for 99.99. I googled on line searching for a better designed rocking horse but failed. I personally likes this simple design. And most importantly, my daughter has very strong personality. (Sometimes, our tastes differ a lot.) So if this is the rocking horse she likes, this is the rocking horse she gets.
We are very satisfied with this toy. It is very decent, durable, and pretty big. Good quality, nice craftsmanship. The surface is smooth, and nicely coated. Installation was not hard (the base part came in one piece) as long as you follow the instruction. The bolt and the holes aligned perfectly. The only difficulty was screwing in the bolt hiding in the mane (to fix the handle). We have to turn the handle slowly, and push and pull the handle tentatively wish to let the hole meet the bolt, at the same time we had to push the mane away. Did I mention a toddler was impatiently hanging around? But luckily, this was the last step, and the result is rewarding.

Cute rocking horse, really difficult to assemble. The pre-drilled holes aren't threaded, and the allen wrench kept stripping the screws. Fortunately there are a lot of screws holding the horse together, so one or two bad screws isn't a deal-breaker. However, I really wish the manufacturer had used Phillips-head so I could have used my drill to assemble...it would have been SO much easier. If I were to do it all over again, I would have purchased my own wood-screws. Once assembled though, it looks great and held my adult weight without a creak or a groan. Very sturdy!

I bought this rocking horse for my granddaughters to have at my house. The 2 year old was here when it arrived & 'helped' put it together. She loves it, rides it alot & always has to hug 'Fooler' when she gets here.
It looks very nice sitting in the living room as a decoration when they are not here.

Product was difficult assmeble due to allen wrench wrong size with shipment. Neighbor helped. Once assembled-durable.

Love this rocking horse!Jan 21, 2008
Bought this for my one and a half year old son. He loves it and rides it every day. His is pretty short and I wondered if he would be able to get on the horse by himself but he does it just fine (after a couple days of practice!) Made of solid wood, this rocking horse is very durable. My five year old also likes it and loves to rock with his little brother. Easy to put together, as well.
