The BEST game so farSep 09, 2007
By Jen If I could give it more stars I would... seriously. My daughter is 4 and has about 7 Leapster games and this is by far her favorite. It is very educational and very fun (I've played it a few times :) She learns so much from her Leapster and I can't wait until she is old enough to get into some of the reading games!!! I also recommend Cars LeapFrog LeapsterĀ® Educational Game: Cars and Number RaidersLeapFrog LeapsterĀ® Educational Game: Number Raiders

Really FunNov 02, 2007

My 4 1/2 year old daughter loves Diego. She wasn't crazy about the Dora Pinata-Fiesta game and then we bought this one and there is no comparison...this is a great game and she really enjoys it. It is fun for the moms and dads too! But seriously, it's worth the money, very fun. If your child loves Diego, they will really enjoy this game.

Easy enough for 3 year oldSep 17, 2007
By jjward I purchased this for my son's 3rd Birthday, he loves all things Diego. I wondered if I didn't jump the gun a bit though since everything seems to be geared for 4 years old and up. He loves it, there are arrows to guide him and the "quests" are simple for him. It's a bit hit and he loves it.

A Definite HitJan 07, 2008

"If I gave birth to 3 monkies, what does that say about me?"
We purchased Leapsters and several game cartridges for my sons ages 7 & 5. My oldest autistic son received this game and it is by far both of their favorites. They also received Creature Create, Pet Pals (both of which bore them), Ratatouille, and Cars:Supercharged (Their second favorite). They both have a lot of fun playing this game, and their 3 year old brother even loves this one (he's the only real Diego fan of the lot). There are three different "Missions" and within each mission, there are quite a few questions to answer. The child first has to find the question mark, which then asks them a learning question. Then three or four answer banners appear within each section and the child must find the correct answer. The gate to the next section/question will then be open. There is also a "mini-game" within each mission that asks a learning question. The higher levels have pattern completion, addition, < or >, etc. I am pleasantly surprised with this game, especially since the older ones are not Diego fans, but LOVE this game.

Awesome leapster game!!Jan 14, 2009
By Kristin We got this for our 3yo son for Christmas. We weren't expecting him to catch on right away since he is so young (just turned 3 in Nov.) but he proved us wrong. He quickly learned how to control Diego and complete the missions.
There are 3 areas to play (desert, rain forest, Antarctica) and each area has 3 levels of difficulty to chose from. The first level teaches basics such as "Find the number 4" "Find a red shape". The more difficult levels work on larger numbers and math skills.
I think my son will be able to grow into this game and be able to use it for several years. Great game!
