This saddle set is great!! Everything fits great on all the traditional models, and especially looks great on the paint horses (and Big Ben). If you want to get a new saddle for your horse, I would recommend buying this set!!

This saddle set looks like a great set, but I think it looks kind of soft and weak like it might break apart. I suggest that you should not use it a lot, I think it it educational because it shows all the western saddle parts and the saddle set. But besides that it looks like it would make a good use for showing off on horses but not playing with it to often.

As an adult collector, I strive for realism in my displays. This set does not provide that. What it does provide is a great little tack set that is totally appropriate for play. It is made out of faux suede and fleece and glued together. It will not hold up to rough play, and a child would probably need an adult's help to buckle it all into place. The headstall on the bridle is very large, and does not fit most Breyers properly. However, it can be "adjusted" a bit and fits well enough for play. The rope reins are adorable, and I love the canteen! Overall, this is a nice set for an older child who wants some matching tack for their tack room.
