These two dolls are well-made and so cute. Their clothing is authentic style and very good quality. As an older doll collector, I will display them out of box and they won't receive rough treatment of course. A small child can probably wreck the doll's appearance in minutes. The cardboard carousel horses look good in a display with the dolls placed on them. My opinion is Michael & Jane are meant for older collector or child over 8 years old.
