Great guardian of the nightOct 26, 2008

"Grandma La-La"
We purchased this beautiful Melissa and Doug dragon for our 3-year old grandson at Christmas a year ago. At the same time, we bought a book-and-CD set about "Puff," the magic dragon. We thought our little guy would love having his own magic dragon to play beside.
What we didn't anticipate was that this dragon would be such a good monster-chaser. In our grandson's bed, he proved to be a great guardian of the night to help our little guy sleep!
It's now been almost a year since the dragon joined the family. He's been fiercely loved by a little boy. That includes occasionally being "ridden" and "tossed" around the room. And just like another magical dragon, he's still safely (and durably) there.

I bought this dragon for my grandson's third birthday and he absolutely loves it. He plays with it more than any other toy. It also seems to be sturdy and well made. It has truly given him hours and hours of fun. It made me a hero!

This is one of the best stuffed dragons I have seen of this size. It is so sturdy that my 2 1/2 year old "rides" it on a regular basis and it shows no wear at all. Considering the price, that's amazing. Photos do not do this dragon justice. The colors and feel of the fabric are outstanding. Everyone has had the experiance of the catalog image looking nothing like what ends up coming in the mail, this is not one of those cases. This is true quality.

This dragon is even more than you'd expect. It is huge, the colors are fantastic, and its quality is really sturdy. He has a great face, and he is just so lovable. My daughter is 10 and really into Dragaons and I am sure this is the favorite in her collection. A great purchase. Would purchase more of Melissa and Doug items.

I love dragons. Period. I like to collect dragon paraphernalia, especially plush toys and stuffed animals. I was skeptical when I considered buying this plush. The length is promising, and the colors look nice, but the picture given is very unrepresentative of the product. I looked up other pictures to get a better view, and boy was I surprised.
Unlike what the image suggests, his eyes have actual depth, and his ears stay down instead of up. This dragon is simply adorable. He's a little on the tubby side, with a very wide rear and little wings. His tongue hangs out of his open mouth as though hes panting like a dog, and his half-closed eyes seem to say "feed me".
This is the highest quality dragon of this size that is available. He's very soft and cute, and hes fun to snuggle with. His wings are poseable and his colors are just amazingly vibrant. So far, he's had it quite rough since I got him, and he has shown no signs of wear whatsoever. He's very sturdy and, though not intended for it, could easily be used as a riding toy. The only complaint that I have about this dragon is that there is a very stiff iron skeleton inside of it, which makes carrying him very awkward. I also find it hard to snuggle with him occasionally because of this. Other than that, he's perfect.
Take it from an expert, this amazing plush will not disappoint you. This big guy is very lovable and will last you a long time. I would recommend this dragon to anyone who has an obsessive love for dragons as I do.
