5Saving GraceOct 17, 2008

When one of my dogs found my 8 year old son's stuffed elephant and shredded it, I knew I had to find a great replacement and soon! Largely by luck I chose this one. Extremely soft and cuddly. As soon as it made it home it was the instant new favorite for weeks. Not too big and not too small and makes a great car pillow for long rides.

5A Family FavoriteMar 08, 2010
By Chirleen Michelini "Whippet Mom"
My daughter's husband bought her this elephant for Christmas. It was her very favorite gift. I saw it and absolutely fell in love...so for my birthday in January my daughter bought me one. My daughter named hers Henry and I named mine Harlow. This started a tradition. For my other daughter's birthday we bought her one. His name is Higgins. We have kept the "H" name a prerequisite..so when my niece had major surgery recently we got her one. Her name is Hope. My mother will be turning 86 soon. We have already purchased one for her and are in the process of deciding his name. The elephants are our official mascots...they have been to Disneyland and on motorhome trips...eventually we hope to give one to all the girls in our family. By the way, this elephant is very soft and being understuffed makes it very huggable. The quality is excellent with neat details. Before our elephants go to their new homes, we tie a silk ribbon around their neck with their new name on it!

5More like a Woolly Mammoth than an Elephant - but a wonderful toy.Jun 21, 2011
By Archangelesk
I ordered this for my 18 month old son, who has shown an interest in elephants. When it arrived, we decided it looks more like a woolly mammoth than an elephant. The fur is much more varied in color than in the photograph and has several shades of reddish brown. So we named him "Woolly" and he is my son's favorite toy. My husband was excited about having such a unique stuffed animal and my son takes him everywhere and uses him as a pillow. At bedtime, we say, "Let's go find Woolly," and he trots right upstairs to cuddle with his mammoth. The quality and detail are very high. The trunk is finished with little nostrils and hides a small mouth underneath. I've decided to buy a second Woolly to keep in the closet, in case anything happens to the first one.

5Wonderful New Friend !Jun 15, 2011
By Kathy K.
Grace is a wonderful addition to my collection! She's so soft and floppy which makes her so loveable. I love that she is so different from typical stuffed elephants. Her eyes were hidden by her plush but I just took a sharp scissors and gently snipped away the excess. Actually the company did a beautiful job with her eyes because (once uncovered) they are so realistic. I just love her........although "her" name is now "Mulligan" !! Well done, Manhattan Toy Company!!

Grace elephant is the sweetest, cuddliest, most lovable elephant a girl could ever ask for. She is so much cuter than that picture shows!
