How to spend 2 months...Feb 02, 2010

I bought this puzzle for my wife as a Christmas gift so she could dream about the tropics. She has been spending about an hour a day working on it since Christmas day and it is about 75% completed. I have to admit that I been doing a bit of it when she isn't around just to add my .02 cents to the project. This is a beautiful puzzle but it is complicated with all the blue sky on top and the intricate plant work on the left side. I haven't done a puzzle since I was a kid but it is really enjoyable. My suggestion is to turn on some good music and spend some time just letting your mind swim on that beach as you fit the pieces together. To things I can point out to plan before you start... this puzzle is large so you will need a decent sized table for the project and if you work on it in the evening you will want a place with good lighting because there are many shades of color to the blue and green areas. ENJOY!

My wife is a jigsaw maven. This has been a wonderful gift, she normally finishes 1000 pc puzzles in a couple of days, she is working on her seventh week on this one. It is a great challenge and she is relentless. Thanks for the product.

Another great Ravensburger puzzle, bought as a gift for a avid puzzle fan, and she extremely enjoyed it, and for quite a long time as well, as with 3000 pieces this will not be some sit down after dinner and finish before the end of the night puzzle, it will easily take days, if not weeks to finish.
