African-American...in the Star Wars Galaxy?Nov 05, 2010

Ok, I realize what is being attempted here, but come on. African-American? To date, there have been no plantets nor locales in the Star Wars Galaxy designated as "Africa" or "America"...sooooo the naming of such a figure is rediculous. What about Corellian? Or Coruscantan? Perhaps Madalorian, or Alderainian? See what I mean? So how about just "Endor Rebel Soldier", like in the old Kenner line, for instance the Bespin security guards? The whole point of the Rebel Alliance (and indeed the modern military) is that everyone fights towards the same end. This makes a designation of "African", "American" as stupid, and worse, useless. That being said, I'm happy to have a black Rebel Endor soldier to round out my Rebellion agains the evil (and Racist, or at least Specist) Galactic Empire.
