Great Puzzle!Oct 25, 2007

My husband has Parkinsonism and he likes to put together puzzles to keep his mind sharp and active. He likes the puzzles that are 300 pieces and are larger pieces. They are easier for him to handle and to see when putting the puzzle together. This puzzle was more "grown-up" than most scenes of kittens, etc. Nicer for an adult.

I recently put together this puzzle. It is a very interesting picture, colorful, and easy to work. I was impressed with the quality, so wanted to share that as a review. I work at a place where people often do puzzles, so I've seen a lot of puzzles. This brand puzzle is the best I've seen.
All of these puzzles that say "Large Format Puzzle 300 Piece" are very well made. Big thick easy to handle pieces. When I buy a new puzzle, I buy one that either says "F.X. Schmid USA" or "Ravensburg". Great quality!
FX Schmid says USA but I think that just means for sale in the USA. They are a German company and made in Germany.
Depending on the seller, they may offer the Amazon free shipping over $25 purchase. It comes and goes depending on who has it for sale.

Purchase this or any other Ravensburger puzzle with confidence. Handled over and over by my three sons -- pieces hold their shape and the image lasts. Even the box it comes in has held up. I plan to put these puzzles together with my grandchildren.

I've recently retired & have the time now to return to a hobby I loved as a kid...PUZZLES!
I tried the 1000 piece puzzles at first but the pieces were just too small for me. Then, I discovered the 300 jumbo-sized piece puzzles. I like them very much but I was a little tired of swans, kitties, & Teddy bears.
THIS PUZZLE is like a beautiful painting. It is well made which is important to me because I keep my puzzles to do over & over again.
Well worth the higher cost.

This puzzle is very nice quality. It didn't take long to do, but at the same time was challenging and fun. The pieces are not only larger size, they are also very sturdy. I will definitely buy another from the same company.
