It is here that a young mare named Esperanza gives birth to the funny and curious colt named Spirit. As Spirit grows up, he becomes the leader of the herd, just as his father was before him. It is through Spirit that the story is told of innocence lost, wisdom learned and how the American West was shaped. | | | Features: | |

A wonderful Breyer CollectibleMay 26, 2002
Spirit is a beautiful wild mustang. He is the leader of the Cimarron herd and is the hero of the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. This beautiful new Breyer mold with wonderful paint job is just perfect for Spirit. The elegant flowing mane and tail, the graceful arched neck, and Spirit's proud eyes make him a very special Breyer Collectible for everyone who loves the Spirit movie and who collects Breyers.

Spirit is a very cool breyer horse. He is sculpted very well and also has very good durability. I got him for Christmas shortly before I got Rain(see rain reviews)for my birthday and ever since, he has been a favorite evan though, like Rain, he is not very educational. Personaly I think that one of the main reasons I like him is because of his shape. His face and body really bring out his attitude and personality shown in the movie. Also if you haven't seen the movie you have been missing out. That's another reason why I like him. They did such a good job with the movie character that I had to have him.

A parentJul 28, 2003
I got this for my 3-year old daughter a year ago. It is by far her favorite toy. For a young child, you'll have to live with having this used as a toy and not a collectable. Quite a bit of paint is worn off (not unexpected from what Spirit has been through). It has overall held up very well. If you're child is into horses, this horse will beat out all others.

Amazing Toy!!Dec 07, 2003
By spiritwildnfree Even though I am a Breyers collector and dont play with my models often, I found this toy very durable and amazingly fun!Its very realistic, and every horse lover should have it!It teaches children the atonamy of the horse, and they can re-create their favorite scenes! If they buy Rain along with Spirit, it doubles the fun, and they look priceless on any collectors shelf, or any childs room! Believe me, I have them, so I know!^_^

By D. Fulton We bought the Breyer set of horses - Spirit & Family - which includes Rain and a baby horse from Walmart and my 2 yr. old daughter loves them. I try to get her not to play too hard with them because I'm afraid the legs could break but so far so good. They look just like the horses in the movie. My daughter is happy with them therefore we are happy with them!
