This Megs is the one everyone wanted but nobody could find when they were kids. It comes with not only the chrome gun (which you never saw in the series) but the sword AND the small plastic pellets which you can shoot out of the gun. The American version never had these features, and although it is not little kid friendly, it is well worth it for the collector. Also, can you say DIE CAST METAL!

This truly is an amazing piece of work - a robot that changes into a Walther P38 hand gun with detachable handle,scope, and silencer- in gun mode, this actually can shoot pellets -(included if same manufacturer) The Robot is sturdy and also comes with a wicked sword. Surely this is a formidable opponent to Optimus Prime and the Autobots. A transformers collection would not be complete without Megatron.
Using the detachable parts, you can create another gun that Megatron himself can hold the handles to and blast away at the Autobots-not even needing to use his fusion cannon- (ie.. scope in robot mode). All i can say is that he's fun to use either as a robot or a gun.

The product is what I remember as a child. It transforms exactly as it had as the original. It should be kept as a collector's item as it is a bit fragile. Otherwise, it's a very good re-release of a popular character.

hello I was one of the few lucky brats to actually get this guy when i was a kid! unfortunately like all my transformers he burned up in the house fire that torched my world when i was 13 (back in 1993).
any way this looks exactly the way i rember the original every last detail he was definitely one of the more complex transformers ever released but was quickly pulled from production earlier than planed because of cahnging toy laws regarding toy guns. I definitely tend to look into getting this remake when i can. i currently collect what reissued tramsformers i can (and on occasion get one of teh originals when i find one for agood deal that is still in failry good condition). for those of you thinking of geting this guy and you enver owned the original g1 megtron i definitely recomend getting this one while it is not to espensive hmmm how ever check his arm joints (the original used a metal joint that was held into a plastic arm peice this often cause his arms to break i remeber always being careful with him as a kid because of this fact) , perhaps this issue was adressed in this remake with a metal on metal joint ? any way regardless i'd still get this guy

This was purchased for my 30+ husband. He did take it out of the box, to put on the stickers and assemble, but he will not be playing with it. He was very happy with it!
