 Who wouldn't love a pig named Wilbur?Apr 29, 2012

In the last few months, my 10 year old daughter has discovered a new love of the movie and book Charlotte's Web. In playing, she had pulled out her "Ham" (from Toy Story), made him a "medal" and he was renamed "Wilbur". I decided to come to Amazon and see if there was a plush Wilbur for my daughter (so Ham could return to his Toy Story friends) and found this Ty version. I had looked elsewhere and the prices were much too high - all stating "rare, hard to find" as the reason for the high prices. I was very happy to find this reasonably priced, excellent quality Wilbur.
Much like Fern, Wilbur goes just about everywhere with my daughter and is always wearing his "radiant medal" she made for him.

This plush Wilbur certainly put a big smile on a little girl's face. Because, as those of us who have read "Charlotte's Webb" know, and who hasn't, Wilbur is indeed a "radiant" pig.

My 8 year old daughter was reading Charlotte's Web at school. The school had a field trip to see the play. She fell in love with Wilbur and saved her money to buy it. When Wilbur arrived, I was surprised at how large and soft he was. He's very cute and my daughter just loves him!
