We got this for our grandson's first birthday and it was his favorite toy. As other gifts were opened he always went back to this one. The only thing I didn't like was some of the decals were damaged. One looked like it had been torn and put back on.

I got this because my niece had this at their place, and my daughter had a blast on it. For her, it was a great toy to sit on and play with all the little toy's on it.

I am not sure how long this lasted, although this toy was given to my husband's nephew during his 2nd birthday party. They immediately opened the gift and assembled it, and almost all of the kids at the party were playing with it! It is indeed fun, and even though there were a lot of kids who played with it, it survived!

It was easy to assemble. It seemed sturdy, but the steering is very limited. I dont know any kid that doesnt like a little noise. The sounds add to the ride.

With 3 kids, I have owned quite a few of these type of ride-on toys. My oldest kids are 5 & 6, so it has been some time since I purchased one since this is the 1st ride-on of this type for my 14 month old. I must say that I was a bit disappointed at how much smaller it is than the others we have owned. It fits my 14 month old perfectly now, but can't say that it will until he is 2 or 3 (my other kids kept their until they were around 3 because they liked them so much). I remember paying a lot more for the other ones I owned, so it isn't that big of a deal knowing I only paid about twenty eight bucks for this. It came pretty much assembled, I only had to put the wheels on (no more aligning stickers...yay!!)...so that was a HUGE plus! It does feel kind of cheap, but hey...it was twenty eight bucks!! I say cheap, but I don't feel my son is going to get hurt on it or anything like that, but it might not live if thrown down the stairs (not with your kid on it!!!...I have baby gates up everywhere, but my son seems to pick up all of his toys and toss them over the gate for some reason).
My favorite part about this ride-on vs. the others out there is the moving characters on the front. My kids love pushing the button and watching them spin around. It plays a catchy tune also (funny, because this one plays the same song my 5 year olds' ride-on played when he was little a few years ago). There are a few buttons to push that play music or flash lights, but nothing overkill. There is a volume switch for high & low, but I don't really hear a difference between the 2...it is kinda loud, but I like hearing my kids play and giggle with it so that doesn't bother me (but may other parents, so be warned!). Last thing to mention, the underseat storage area...yes, it has one, but it is so small you can barely fit a sippy cup in it! The older ride-ons we owned could fit a ton of stuff in them, which was my kids favorite part :-( I just wish this one had a bigger storage area, but overall a great buy!
