WARNING: This scooter contains LEAD!Oct 09, 2010
By Parents in Raleigh I ordered two of these scooters to give as gifts. Thank goodness that I took them out of the box to inspect them prior to gifting them - there is a giant warning sticker on the bottom of the actual scooter that says that the product contains LEAD and will create LEAD dust!
Lead exposure can cause long-term, irreversible brain damage in children. Please do not buy this product for a child of any age.
I have returned this product to Amazon and asked them to update the listing to contain a warning.

Bought this scooter for my 4 yr old grandson. He couldn't quit hopping up and down long enough to get on to ride. Finally he got on and took off like a champ. (he's been riding his older brother's all last year) It's a sturdy scooter, bright graphics, and will give him many years of FUN!!!

impossible to foldSep 10, 2010
By Jeanne My son received this as a birthday gift for his 5th birthday. It's still going a year later but a little small for him now. It has been impossible to fold down...I have tried everything to get it to collapse. Absolutely will not fold in any way. This has been a minor, unexpected inconvenience. I know it was folded when we took it out of the box!

I bought the scooter for my younger grandson's 5th birthday. Not only did he love it . . . apparently his older brother who is autistic also likes it so there is a little rivalry at times even though there are two others to choose from (3 grandsons). I found it fairly easy to finish assembling and have absolutely no complaints. smq
