This is a really wonderful Silkstone Barbie doll. I collect all of the silkstone's and was a little "on the fence" about purchasing this one. I am so pleased that I did! She is really wonderful in person-even my husband was impressed when I opened her. Photos do not capture her high quality and details.

The Interview Barbie Doll
Have been a fan of Silkstones since their inception in 2000. This one in particular seems to just not do much for me. Perhaps she will grow on me and I will learn to appreciate her more. The outfit is a retro 60s but has no pizzaz with the color being boring beige cotton demask or something. Her facepaint is also very understated after all she is at an interview and wants to make a good impression. Her hair had heavy hair spray which was offensive to me and I have since combed it out some and it looks a lot better. WHY ALL THE HAIR SPRAY??? Silkstone hair is lovely stuff and there is no need to spray it. It's almost like glue. They even dripped some glue on the doll's chest.
The handbag now is another story. It's very nice and also metallic gold and very sheek and stylish along with the sunglasses. Well there you have it. It's a pretty doll and if your thing is muted stones, conservative with lots of hair spray to keep the french twist in place, this is your cup of tea.

This doll is beautiful, her face, hair, clothes, shoes, stockings and accessories are just perfect (she comes with jewellary, handbag,gloves, sunglasses and mirror for bag) she looks fabulous. I love the outfit and her hair. She looks great on display. I am so glad I brought her. She is a classy grown up lady and inspiring in her own way - she displays elegance, grace, confidence, style and has that something special about her. The outfit has lots of special details to it. If you would want to wear the outfit you would like this doll. She looks great in my lounge on a glass display table amongest family photos of my grandmother dressed up in glamourous times after end of WWII. You will enjoy this doll. I highly recommend this doll, she presents as a elegant sophisicated woman, someone that you would want to know in person. She has a lot of personlity for a doll. She stands perfectly on the stand provided.

This doll is a high class BFMC silkstone Barbie doll and I love her. The reasons that I gave her 4 stars instead of 5 are that I do not care for the fact that her body suit is sewn on, nor do I like her original hair style. I do love her face and her ensemble. The quality and style are just wonderful. With mine I simply took her hair down using hot water to restyle it, and find her to be much more appealing to me.
