A great family experienceFeb 24, 2008
By David Kirk The puzzle was a gift for our grandson. He's four years old and had never worked on a puzzle larger than 25 or so pieces. At 100 pieces, he had a challenge - and he's also a Thomas the Train fan, so he was really thrilled to have the puzzle. The main goal of the gift was to provide a meaningful challenge for adult and child. This is not a simple puzzle where the adult can do it in 5 minutes while the child watches. At 100 pieces, there is just enough difficulty for the parents and child to spend a few happy hours putting it together. Then, to our grandson's delight, the finished picture glowed in the dark. We were impressed with the quality of the puzzle - clearly developed by people who understand children. Many benefits: quality time with parents, develop motor skills, and just plain fun. No electronics, no automation. We're definitely going to buy another one for him soon.

Great PuzzleNov 19, 2008
By shk39 I bought this for my 4 year old, after realizing the 35 pc Thomas the Engine puzzle I bought him was too easy. You won't be disappointed by the quality of the puzzle, it is pretty sturdy compared to the cheaper puzzles out there. The picture is coordinated such that my son works on different parts and can later put the whole puzzle together by himself. In fact, the picture is so well put together, that he can put the puzzle together in less than 30 minutes. I am afraid he will outgrow this puzzle soon, however, I think I will have it framed and hang it on his bedroom wall so he can enjoy at bedtime. He loves the glow in the dark feature. Puzzles are a great head-fake, he's "playing" but learning great logic and analytical skills at the same time. I am overall satisfied with the product.

A Puzzling DelightAug 22, 2008

This puzzle was an absolute delight for the little seven year old tyke who put it together. Each piece was of interest whether flowers, faces, or trains. She was most excited to see it glow, and waited all day for night to come and for the puzzle to reveal itself in the dark. A truly fun experience in every way.

great puzzle for your thomas fanAug 03, 2008
By the music doc this is a fantastic puzzle that should win your kid over. my son is almost 3 and this seems to be challenging enough to occupy a sufficient amount of time. because of the busy nature of the completed puzzle, he was able to finish a section at a time to provide positive reinforcement to continue on. The glow-in-the-dark aspect was an added bonus...my son still gets giddy about seeing this in the dark!

The perfect puzzle.Apr 28, 2008

A practically perfect puzzle for youngsters just beginning to assemble larger puzzles. The very definite areas of the puzzle make sharing easy, and the glow-in-the-dark puzzle is delightful when finished. The puzzle itself is sturdy and will withstand hours of play. My grandchildren, ages 3 and 5, and I had a delightful time playing with this puzzle!
