Fun toy, but watch out for the pieces...Jan 07, 2008
By L. Brown I gave this to my son, who is 4, for Christmas, which was two weeks ago. As of now we have lost a door and the top to the car. He loves this toy but does not like how it keeps falling apart. Even when I was taking it out of the packaging a door/arm came off. The toy is rated as easy to transform and for 4+ years, but I have to put it from the robot to the car for him (though he can put it from the car to the robot just fine). I think if I knew how flimsy it was I probably wouldn't have bought it. The good news is my son is still playing with it and takes it to bed at night....So in the meantime, I'll just keep looking for those pieces....
Kids will love it, parents will hate it.Dec 17, 2008
By Morgan I agree with the other reviews. It's a cool-looking toy, and the transformation part is fun, but getting it back to the car mode from the robot mode is not easy. And just about every piece falls off at some point. Yes, you can re-attach them, but is that how you want to be spending your time? And the more it's played with, the more easily things fall off. My kids like the look and design, but get frustrated because it's always breaking, and then they can't find the pieces.
FALLS APART VERY EASILY. DON"T BOTHER.Oct 07, 2008
By FrugalMaMa I had to give up this bumblebee to the donation box. We didn't need to force a tranform but even so, things started popping off and never stay on for very long. In battle mode the doors always fall off the legs popped off, two pieces (the grill) that covered the chest, gone. It was truly frustrating, annoying and the plastic is cheaply made. I own transformers from 2002 and they were made much better, even then.
