5excellent piece of work, great for collectors!!!!!Jun 03, 2007
By J. A. Balbin Jr. "Mr. Facts"
Yes, i got one today at toys'r us (19.99) and i cant stop staring at it...its just brilliant, the detail, the deep yellow gloss in it, its just great...From the movie, bumblebee happened to be one of my favorites, if not the favorite from what i have seen....to be honest i like him more than prime...i guess i was lucky on this one,,its actually the first unleashed robot from the film....i got it today 6/2/07...the very first day of its release.....i recommend to get this one really fast before the price rises, and sellers start abusing the poor....i hope blackout ( the chopper) or swindle (little red car) make it to the unleashed series,,i dont really care about prime...but so far bumblebee its the best of all....nothing wrong with this bumblebee on steroids.......(the reason is a 1 in durability its because this is not a toy , its a shelf product, never meant to hit the floor...=) kids,,you got the 9.99 transformer robots for that.......

5Awesome pose for a great Autobot!Oct 25, 2007
By Daniel Meek "Dano"
Okay, I have to admit that I'm hooked on the "new" Bumblebee look. What a stark contrast from the days of old. I used to play with these things as a kid myself (I'm dating myself here) and have to say, this is what I've always imagined the Transformers to look like in the first place! This figure (as mentioned) is not a toy in the sence of playing with, rather a decoration. Eye popping to be sure. My only wish would be able to move the head. The first picture in the discription shows him looking forward, while the one I received looks to the right over his shoulder. Great product even though it's made in china. (I hope there's no lead paint in this thing!)

5Unleashed Strikes gold again for fans!Jun 26, 2007
By Richard M. Colletta
If you haven't seen the Unleashed series before, there are a number of Star Wars unleashed figures that are very awesome. The package itself is a display case, don't take it out!! :P

Seriously, this is just for looks not to play with.

Of course, I went to the store and wanted a new Optimus Prime. I do not really care for the new transformers that are on the shelves, The Optimus Prime looks awful as well.

That being said, Bumblebee here is pretty awesome. The design is striking and very cool. This is the first release for Transformers Unleashed, Optimus Prime should be on shelves later this month or early July.

However, the Optimus Prime Unleashed figure, which I have already seen (though it's not on shelves yet) is god-awful. The OP looks like melted plastic and has the awful very plastic looking flames running through the middle, prime on one side bot form, and on the other side of the flames, the truck. Again, it looks like melted plastic, and it looks like the transformers for toddler toys.

At least good ole Bumblebee won't let you down.

But, how about my favorite...Prowl? :D

4Great buy!Nov 21, 2007

Shipping was quick and item was just as detailed as the example picture showed. it makes a great display for any shelf. if you prefer to leave it in the box that it comes in, that also looks great. I myself took it out and put it on my shelf. but beware, when you open the box, hold your breath. The fumes from the amount of lacquer they use to coat the action figure will make your head spin!! :-)

5Bumblebee as a Camaro? Yes, pleaseJul 23, 2007
By Harris Elleberg
Like any true Transformers fan, I was initially disappointed to see Bumblebee transformed from the flamboyant VW Beetle of my youth into the tough-talking concept Camaro of Bay's live-action adaptation, but this toy quickly won me over.

I was impressed by details as minute as the tiny Skynrd album in the 8-track and by the way the bumper flips over into a flowing, majestic chrome mullet.

In fact, I'm kind of glad that VW's sponsorship fell through. Both the movie and this toy would be much less awesome if Bay had followed the original script, which featured Bumblebee as a 2007 Beetle, trying to make it on his own in the big city with his Chrysler Sebring and Subaru Outback roommates. Soundtrack by Jonathan Larson.
